Dell warns against two vulnerabilities in Dell systems
According to the information shared by Dell, the vulnerabilities were tracked with the code names CVE-2024-28979 and CVE-2024-28978. Accordingly, the vulnerabilities created an unauthorized access vulnerability in versions 3.10 and 4.0 of Dell OpenManage Enterprise software.
Dell stated that it allows attackers to access system resources without authorization. It was also revealed that versions prior to version 4.1.0 had a CSS vulnerability that allowed attackers to access JavaScript code. This means that target systems can be compromised through Dell OpenManage Enterprise.
For those who do not know, the OpenManage Enterprise application is a management tool that is mostly preferred on business computers. It allows access to multiple computers and file transfer over a single system. These vulnerabilities led to vulnerabilities in many systems.
